Two steps back

No pretty pictures this run. I am finding I need to rip back two projects, and a picture of the snarl of yarn while frogging is just too sad.

I have found out the the vest pattern I am knitting has errors on my size, and these errors require me to tear it out to the armholes. It is an Interweave pattern, so this is disturbing, but helps to explain why so few have knit this vest. I was having some troubles with it earlier in the knitting, but decided it was my dyslexia kicking up and just punted my way through. The troubles I am running into pretty much put the errors firmly in Interweave’s lap. Someone wasn’t paying attention, or did not have time to proof carefully before it went to press. I have figured out what the numbers should be to get a vest at the end, and will be reworking it.

So that one is on time out while I…rip out the sugar skull hat I was working on. Yay me! I was doing it on four dpns, and the puckers I was getting were a bit more than one can block out. It was also as slow af, so I found my circulars (same brand and size) and swapped over. I can be taught, it just takes a while sometimes. Since my knitting style is so different on the circulars, my tension was different. I am starting over at the ribbing. More yay me! I want this done by Halloween so diligence is required. wish me luck!
